The 1962 Coffee Town Blokes rode a late-season surge all the way to the final match of the PSSA Championship, where the lads lost to Vancouver, 6-2.

Johan, Sergio and Issabella famously founded Coffee Town FC before the 1962 PSSA season and immediately fielded a team that competed at the league's highest level.
Coffee Town FC Played its first 10 campaigns at Seattle's Memorial Stadium, literally in the shadow of the Space Needle.
The artificial turf in this stadium was only the second in the world.
